The RTX 4060 uses the AD107 die with 8GB of GDDR6 memory providing 272 GB/s bandwidth. It includes 3,072 CUDA cores, 96 fourth-generation Tensor Cores, and 24 third-generation RT cores. TDP is an extremely efficient 115W.
The 115W TDP is remarkably low for a capable gaming GPU, enabling compact single-fan designs and deployment in systems without dedicated GPU power cables. The RTX 4060 can run entirely from PCIe slot power in some configurations.
DLSS 3 with Frame Generation is a key value proposition at this tier, where the AI frame generation can nearly double effective frame rates in supported games. This makes the RTX 4060 more capable than its specifications might suggest for compatible titles.
